Momento Mori: Alexander McQueen X H&M
A small piece of a larger semester long project in attempts to create harmonious branding of a company chosen or created by the student. The brand I have selected is Alexander McQueen. Long Live McQueen

Momento Mori: Latin; "Remember Death". Comes from the medieval practice of reflecting on death and mortality.
In 2010 the fashion industry lost a legend following the suicide of the Lee Alexander McQueen, a fashion revolutionary whose works have graced pop culture icons such as Lady Gaga, Political Royalty like Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama and have been recognized in the art community, having his work once on display in the world renowned Metropolitan Meuseum of Art.
Five years later his successor Sarah Burton, in collaboration with fashion outlet H&M, have created a collection that exudes the essence of Alexander McQueen. Rebellion. Romanticism. Sophistication. Edge.
This collection was created to celebrate the life and imagination that was Lee Alexander McQueen, making his essence available to anyone and everyone.
Long Live McQueen.
